James Edward Colhoun, (1796-1889), son of John Ewing Colhoun created these diaries between 1823 and 1830. Colhoun was related to John C. David Ives Bushnell was born 28 April 1875 in St. Louis, Mo. He was educated in St. Louis schools and in Europe.
